Cool, casual and comfortable are the perfect words to describe most college students’ style. Many do not seek to mimic top style icons, but only want to produce their own effortlessly casual looks. Wearing a hoodie, T-shirt and jeans seems like the typical outfit worn by my fellow peers. However, each of them takes the look and makes it their own by personalizing it which is exactly what today’s Fashionisto did.
He had all the ingredients: a hoodie, a T-shirt and a pair of jeans. Yet, it’s still a variation on the classic trio. For this look, the hoodie is essential, but he also wore a gray polo shirt and black Timberland boots. This is what separated him from the rest. Also setting him apart from other students are his cuffed jeans, which are a signature look for many people.
While I love outrageous and eye-catching outfits, I also love more casual ones as well. They presents an effortless look but can still remain cool and chic. Most importantly, people feel comfortable in their casual outfits. They don’t have to worry about their tights ripping in the middle of the day or their heel’s breaking off the bottom of their pumps. It’s perfect for looking fabulous but without trying.
Hint: Embrace your favorite hoodie. I know that when all else fails, I can throw on my favorite sweatshirt and still feel like I look amazing. It’s simply what I am comfortable wearing so I always feel well prepared for the day. One should never feel like they have nothing to wear if they have their favorite hoodie hanging up in their closet. That’s what it’s there for!
